The UPAS v2

The sampler that started it all. This lightweight, nearly silent, 240 gram sampler collects airborne particulate matter on a 37 mm filter with continuously monitored volumetric flow. Each sampling run is accompanied by a log file that reports hardware performance and environmental information. The Home Health Box

The Home Health Box is a new way to thoroughly evaluate your indoor air. Using our patented air sampling technology, the programmable Home Health Box samples for particulates and gases that impact human health in the short and long term. Additionally continuous sensing of the environment allows the Home Health Box to identify the times of day and behaviors impacting your indoor air quality. The Home Health Box offers a simple alternative to lugging around a whole suitcase of air sampling equipment. Learn more here.

Accessories to suit your applications

Size selective inlets, flow adapters and outdoor enclosures.

  • PM2.5 - 1 LPM inlet

    PM2.5 is monitored worldwide for ambient and personal exposure to harmful particles.

  • PM2.5 - 2 LPM

    A two liter per minute inlet allows you to push your PM2.5 limits of detection lower with a higher flow rate.  

  • Respirable Inlet

    The respirable size cut is a standard in many countries to monitor workplace exposure to harmful dusts. This compact inlet allows for simple ergonomic sampling in the breathing zone without the hassle of large dangling cyclone assemblies. 

  • PM10 / Thoracic inlet

    Sampling the larger size cuts for particles is gaining in popularity as exposure limits are pushed lower. This inlet samples within the bounds of the PM10 and Thoracic collection curves. 

  • Calibration and Flow adapter

    Easily check flow against a flow primary or get creative using the UPAS as a sampler apart from the thread on inlets. 

  • Replacement Cartridges

    Our universal second generation cartridge is reusable. The cartridges are a key part of what allow the full stack of inlet+ cartridge + sampler to maintain such a low profile.

Outdoor Enclosure

After many customer requests we have released a custom enclosure for the UPAS v2 and v2+ products. Don't risk your hardware or your data accuracy with a DIY solution.

  • Tested for protection of hardware and to maintain accuracy of sampling.
  • Battery backup and solar panels available to extend the run time.
  • Optional cooling fan available for high heat conditions.
