It is sometimes difficult to explain what we’re selling. That’s not because we don’t know what we’re selling, we have a small catalog. We have difficulty explaining what we’re selling because we fall into the trap of trying to explain what we’re selling by analogizing to the products that came before them. But we know this doesn’t always work. It makes me wonder how car salespeople explained the automobile to people who had only known the horse and buggy. Especially, if say you had the extra challenge of trying to sell an automobile without an automobile in front of you. The conversation might start out as, “Well you know your horse, well this is like a horse but where the legs go, we’ve got wheels and you don’t feed it hay you need to feed it gasoline or electricity.”  Thanks to AI image generator DallE 2 we can visualize the picture someone might have had floating around their brain at the description of this never-before-seen automobile. Eh, not exactly what the auto dealership is selling. So how long does it take to get the right picture? For us, often a while.  We suffer from the same challenge as the auto salesperson at times. But we don’t get discouraged because we know if we can get past the word jumble, we can get that light bulb turned on. Once the light bulb is on and we see a familiar rising smile we know we’ve made it. It’s the awareness of how much potential our products have to make an improvement in your work.  With our tools our customers become innovators in their own space, they build off our unique hardware stack.
